The stick
is the controller.
Put one motion sensor inside the Black Stick. Every swing becomes a score, every practice becomes a challenge, and every young player gets a reason to go again.
Put it in. Pair it once.
Turn practice into play.
A removable sensor plug sits under the butt-end cap, away from the stick's primary flex zone.
The motion sensor recognizes a shot pattern and sends the movement data to a nearby phone.
HockeyAI scores the round and places the player in an age-matched, parent-approved challenge.
Real parts.
Serviceable by design.
Rotate, zoom, explode, and inspect the removable butt-end module. The model uses recognizable XIAO nRF52840 Sense, ADXL375, protected LiPo, JST wiring, TPU isolation, and a rigid spine instead of generic placeholder blocks.

Five swings.
One place on the board.
Try the software loop before the hardware is ready. This demo uses simulated sensor readings to show pairing, shot recognition, scoring, and a parent-safe leaderboard.

Motion is measured.
Puck outcome needs eyes.
A stick sensor can see how the stick moved. It cannot directly see where the puck landed. That distinction keeps competition fair and the product credible.
