Common questions
How is the scout report generated?+
We combine your kid's stats, parent-entered game notes, coach feedback, video observations, and age-bracket context into a structured monthly report. Each section explains what evidence it used and what to work on next.
Do I need special camera equipment?+
No. Start by uploading full-rink game video from a phone, rink feed, Veo-style camera, LiveBarn clip, or coach recording. Team plans can add fixed rink cameras or live video equipment later when the workflow is proven.
Why focus on positioning?+
Positioning is one of the hardest skills for young players to understand from the bench. Video lets the player see spacing, routes, support lanes, gap control, and recovery decisions shift by shift.
Is it accurate?+
Treat it as a practical second opinion, not a promise of future level or recruiting outcome. The report is strongest when families add real stats, recent notes, game video, and coach observations.
What ages does it cover?+
U8 through U18 today. Junior (USHL/OHL/NCAA-eligible) coming Q3.
Can I cancel?+
Anytime, one click in your account. You keep access through the end of the billing period.
What about my kid's privacy?+
Profiles are public ONLY if you (or your kid, with consent) flip the switch. Under-13 accounts should be parent-managed, and private notes stay inside the account.
